Actinpmycosis

This is an acute hard swelling of the ferret's neck, actinomycosis is probably caused by abraisions to the animal's oesophagus, usually by feeding too many day old chicks in the diet.

Affected ferrets will be listless, anorexic and have a fever. refer the ferret to the veterinary without delay.
